Life and love
Different yet so dependent
Without life there can never be love
Without love there is no life
Love and life
Surreal still so real
In pleasured arms, their grace briefly held
With labored breath, the search for tommorow continues
Pain and pleasure
Notes in the symphony of life and love
Music heard in the heart, felt by the soul
A sweet and sour song describing who we are
Pleasure and pain
Mysteries of existence, of love, of life
Can't be one without the other, despite desire
We go, with scarred smiles, to that which can't be found
Life and love, love and life
Pain and pleasure, pleasure and pain
Will be better off when the melody fades
Are we any better for having listened

this is something ive been trying to write for a while. i dont know if ive exactly succeeded in doing it as well as this though. your last question, worth time considering. but one that listens doesnt always use what was heard, so are we any better? not exactly, not unless it is used. and the tree falls in the woods, but no one hears it, it still made a sound. |
