One Two

Contributed by Loyalist on Saturday, 1st May 2004 @ 03:47:26 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Tied down and tugging the controls
two unsuccessfully thinking as one
one wanting ones own thought
but yet somehow still be two
Somehow unity is not an option
as two do not think as indiviuals
not, by any means quitting or giving in
not to split or break the bonds, but
maybe freedom is the noun which is sought
a twin, but individual sense of freedom
like mystical kindness which is but a myth
of human character, an idea yet to berth.
why can one not have and give?
one giving this all
soul searching small things mostly earthly
things which fulfill ones creativity
but are bound by other such earthy
human concepts to keep order or again
tugging the controls to sway the tide in their favor
so overbearing and unwarranted the feelings
one must counsel the two as to bring
understanding and normalcy to the otherwise
chaotic mind of one which only speaks of the dead.
as it were not enough,
ones questions have been answered by ones own hand
earth in a paradoxal conflict with that of unearthly
emotions and stability knocked off it's axis
by a force of such omnipotence
it has stretched the proverbial skin
only the more it is pulled apart
the more it comes together
such elasticity snaps the form back to shape
neither two can seperate.
compensating, comprimise, communal is the life.
eteral, forever, pushing the limits is the love.
