You are the ghost that haunts my dreams,
And nothing there is as it seems,
But the beauty that radiantly gleams,
From your heart in ambient beams.
My life,my love,my heart,and sight,
Are yours for this and every night,
And as long as the sun will give his light,
I am yours,wrong or right.
Keep and hold me close to you,
Until forever's morning dew,
Awakens us to skys of blue,
On heaven's shore where all is new.
I will never forget the day,
When God himself brought you my way,
And answered the prayer,he heard me pray,
For a love that would not pass away.
