Intemperate jealousy.
The trademark of every heart,
(Sordid water in a vast field)
Evils exists in sheer furtiveness,
Holding hands with the mottled palms.
Aloof & conceited they stand,
(A scarecrow in the vast field)
Entangled within the bowl of envy,
Horrendous, to those who oppose them.
Hence, where did evil first breed?
(A bad grain in the vast field)
Who planted the initial seed?
How did corruption sneak into guiltless entity?
Eradicating the fraught human race,
(Burning the lucrative vast field)
Affronting the rich with good karma,
Entangled within the bowl of envy,
They stand.

A good strong poem that asks a question. Where or what are the answers? Will we ever know?
