Fade to the Unknown

Fade to the Unknown

Whatever, whatever
Forever, forever
World over, World over
This is another's world
That isn't my own
This is another's life
That isn't my own

Who am I?
That question goes unanswered
Because I can't search within

Who have I become?
I used to be someone else
Now the differences escalate
So that I'm another person

Is this life's death to myself?
With every change I undergo
One part of me fades
To the unknown
And a new part undertaken
Takes me over

But where ever I may go
The search for my old self
Goes on and on
I doubt I will find myself
Because that person died
So long ago
Before I changed into myself
