A look inside the man

Contributed by Archie on Thursday, 29th April 2004 @ 07:54:59 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Do you marvel?
Do you wonder?
Do you ponder or consider,
When you look into the eyes of a brother or a sister?
Do their eyes draw to your soul?
Do you see their dreams or goals,
all the pain that's in their lives,
their happy and sad times?
Or do you look then turn away,
cause you do not want to face
what's inside those piercing spheres,
that removes your heart's facade
to reveal what's in your heart

Windows of the souls they say. Well put. I really like the questioning style of this poem. Keep it up.
Take care.
