I have a date, gotta get ready
Washed and shaved, hair all tidy
Best suit on, look brand new
A couple of drinks, one or two
My hands are shaking, heart is pumping
Confused thoughts, head is thumping
Feeling afraid, of the loneliness ahead
Losing loved ones, I'm so full of dread
I've opened right up, never told you lies
You've guided me, with words strong and wise
I always listen, pay heed to what you say
So why be afraid, on this very day
Now I must lie down, rest my weary eyes
I see a shinging light before me,calling me to rise
My soul leaves my body, drifting slowly away
Happy and peaceful now, I've met my maker today
