Black Burning Candle

Contributed by Black13 on Thursday, 29th April 2004 @ 09:24:43 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Bleeding blackened blood in a bathroom stall.
Sentencing my life to a fiery hell.
Breaking down my hope in self-torment.
Hating every second I spend in my life.
And I still can't live without you,
and I still can't end it all.
How could this all come to be?

I used to believe that I would never die.
Looking back now at my youth;
I realize all I lived was a lie.
Hoping to try but silence fills my mouth.
Knowing all I knew in a fragment of time.
Will it all come down on me?

Holding a knife with your hand,
I gently try to slice myself.
This pain makes my life fade away.
Please, take it all from me.
Closing my eyes waiting for one last kiss.
Won't you please save me tonight?

Desperately sad. Someone you cared very much for must have hurt you very badly. This shows the depth of that pain and how difficult it is to heal.
