LovePoetry

I can bring you home roses,
Each and every day.
But it doesn't mean
That I will always stay.
I can take you out to dinner,
Or a picnic in a park.
But that's no guarantee
That I will never break your heart.
I can buy you diamond earrings
To show you that I care.
But it doesn't mean
That I'll always be there.
I can tell you I love you
With a promise ring.
But if it's all that I give you,
Then it wouldn't mean a thing.
My love has deeper meaning
Than materialistic things.
My heart has set no limits
On all the happiness it can bring.
I want to do more for you
To make you feel
That my love for you is real.
I want to do all I can
With all my heart,
And be the best man I can.
I want to make it up to you
For all the times
That those guys have made you cry.
I want to give you everything,
The world to you,
Because you mean the world to me.
