Magnetic Storm

Contributed by Cassandra on Wednesday, 28th April 2004 @ 10:03:37 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Influenced by magic
Ensnaring the village in its wake
The Magnetic Storm encounters its lamentable victim;
Alluring her thoughts and emotions
Enslaving her to a transient moment of wretchedness.

Once illuminant candles - extinguished
Crystalline chandeliers collide with the ground - shattering
Drowning a nightmare world in ochre light.

Around her
Screaming above her
Roaring below her
Enchaining her in its mastery

The Magnetic Storm reaches into its capacity
Tormenting it's victim with harrowing memories
Captured from lost minds
Her heart slammed against her ribcage-
A trapped Bird
Immobolising her in her own solicitude
Scraping away at her mind
Rendering her senseless

Her voice crying for deliverance,
The last cruciating blow brought forward defeat.
She knew what lay beyond her unconcious refuge-
Waking up solitary in oblivion

Darker and deeper the heavy clouds sat,
Leaving a sky pouring crimson
A land lifting his head up once more.
