Dance of Night

Sweet compulsion at the door
Scented jasmine on the wind
Connected by what we adore
There is the thrill of knowing
Stroking, softly kisses land
Taste of salty familiar lips
Feel the touch of lover’s hands
Slowly the fire burns
Twisting turning to be free
A fever smolders in the blood
Fighting all authority
We fall in tangled limbs defeat
We succumb to carnal bliss
Reveling in this simple gift
Ending with a gentle kiss
The age old dance of night

One more in a long line of excellent writes. Ended a bit too quickly for me, but I think that's a personal preference.
