I wonder if you’re listening,
Although so far away.
Do you feel this feeling?
Vibrating through the air- waves.
Well I hope you’re locked up tight away,
Where I cannot get to you,
So you never hear these imagined words,
Or feel the deal I’m about to blow you.
By scaring myself, do I scare you too?
Will you react the same, as I do?
At this moment, it’s all the same,
You none the wiser, to forthcoming, contemplated change.
And I test out my uncertainty, on my braced up self.
Hesitantly practising, the show I’m awaiting,
To a thankfully neutral audience.
Nothing but dark soaks up the thought,
Leaving no trace, no give away mark,
Of my doubt.
My whispered goodbye,
Goes unheard,
My whispered sorry,
Pointlessly quavers.
You flinch so slightly in your sleep,
Mareless Dreams. Interrupted.
Imagined Echoes? Dissipated.
But a frown appears on your innocent face
A trace of doubt, misplaced.
Nothing the morning sun won’t erase,
The nighttime uncertainty fades…
Unaware, blissfully blind.
Deaf to a prayer so unintentionally unkind.

wow i really love the way you create this powerful, controlling feeling...secretly interrupting "someone's" sleep. irrational thought is interesting. i really really enjoyed reading this. i got totally sucked in!
