And That's Why...

Contributed by OMEGA_ on Wednesday, 28th April 2004 @ 01:11:50 PM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

Why do I hope you find yourself?

To meet that wonderful kind heart
That pretty deep soul I always used to see from the start

Why do I hope you find yourself?

To see that sweet girl inside of you
To have the same great feelings I always used to

Why do I hope you find yourself?

To have that same joy I used to have
When you smile, when you panic, and when you laugh

Why do I hope you find yourself?

To give me those real pure feelings
That I always used to get from your deep hidden core
To give me those charming tender smiles
Those that make my heart jump and run thousands of miles

But this time will be by yourself
This time I won’t be the only one who can see
But also you will be…

Then you will come to be so free
Whispering in my ears those little sweet words:
“After I become myself no one else could be… you are my friend, my love, and the only one for me

And that’s why I hope you find yourself…

Hello Omega and welcome to YPDC.

You should give this to the special lady you wrote this for because it is very loving and sweet.

I was impressed with your poem.
