Good things do come to an end...!!

Contributed by The_Poet on Wednesday, 28th April 2004 @ 10:19:55 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

------------------------------------------------------------

It was an ordinary day,
you walked straight right up, without a fray.
Never realised, it would go beyond the smiles
wish it would've lasted longer more than a thousand miles.

From an animal to a human, you brought about the change
all this sure seems so strange.
An angel sent from the heavens
you made my soul smile just with your presence.

I took the liberty to love,
guess I paid the price sent from above.
You were the one I have held in my palm,
but the one I can never hold onto for long
a someone who always made my soul calm
I realize to me you will never belong.

With a heart not willing to forget,
I know that it would always regret.
Consoling myself, I can never convince
that I will have someone better who would come along,
coz baby, you have always been the one ever since,
and to you I will always belong.

Ah yes...to be tortured by what we cannot achieve. I love the way you say goodbye but yet pledge your eternal alliegence. Great write.

Keep it up!

This is perhaps the most touching and intense farewell you could give to the one you love the most and the best! A very beautiful write
