I saw your eyes look away when I needed you most
I watched you turn your back and think you were a ghost
A transparent almost invisible being
One that wanted to be alone without feelings
I witnessed you pick up that knife and put it back down
I saw your tears fall as you wiped them with your gown
I wanted to hold you
I wanted to say that you don't have to live this way
But you thought you were invisible
So I pretended not to notice as you tried to make life more "livalbe"
A life built on human standards
An unstable platter full of uncooked sinful batter
You are My daughter
Why ignore Me and live enternity in this endless slaughter?
I love you, can't ou believe its true?
How can you not see what a treasure you are?
You're worth more than any man-made belongings by far
I have a gift for you
One you know I hold onto
You know the way to receive it, but instead you go around and deceive it
I still love you, I aways will
You have the choice to look back this way, believe what I say, and I'll take you from this self-toture
I will then give you your present for sure
The gift of eternity

Oh my goodness! This is wonderful! So much feeling and emotion. It could have so many meanings for different people. But yet it's beautiful and mysterious. You are a great writer! |
