A boy named Willie Makit,
was playing by the river.
There he saw a big catfish,
that called him chicken liver.
The fish spit water in his eyes
and then it swam away.
Willie said I'll be right back,
then it's my turn to play.
He grabbed the boards behind his shed,
left there by his dad.
He remembered what that fish did
and started getting mad.
With a hammer and some nails,
he built himself a boat,
Then he took it to the river,
where he sat afloat.
When the fish started up again,
Willie turned beat red.
He grabbed a board from his boat
and smacked it in the head.
He took it home and cooked it ,
in a great big pot.
He put it on the table,
when it was good and hot.
He suddenly said to himself,
as it sat there in a dish.
I wish that I could eat you,
but I hate the taste of fish.

Lololol. My 10 y/o twin grandsons love to fish and they will love this one for sure. When they come to visit they always fish in my pond. But they love to eat them too. The fish are so tame they will practically jump into your hands. This is adorable.
