Diamond Tears

Contributed by diamond_tears on Tuesday, 27th April 2004 @ 05:51:15 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

One tear rolls down a cheek,
Like a raindrop on a window,
Glistening in the sun,
A reflection of the pain inside.

Feeling alone, tears fall,
As if from nowhere, the flood gates open.
Tiny droplets of sadness.
The dont show the overpowering waterfall inside.

Twinkling like the stars,
Slipping over the wrinkles.
Light, soft, blinking...

Diamond Tears

The imagery beautiful. Although sad it pulls at the heart and you have lots of talent.

I'm impressed and will look for your writes in the future.

I love, absolutely love poems about tears. And this was beautiful. The imagery used was magnificent and it radiated pain and sadness at the same time.
'Tiny droplets of sadness.
The dont show the overpowering waterfall inside.' I loved that line. Great write.
