- Pardon me, miss.
- Yes?
- This form is a bit confusing.
- In what way Sir?
- Well, I'm not in it, it seems...
- What do you mean?
- I'm black.
- Oh, 'African American'; it's there, third one from the top.
- But Miss, I'm from Russia.
- Didn't you just say that you were black?
- I am. Have been all my life.
- Then Sir, 'African American' is what applies.
- Black people only come from Africa...?
- Sir, it's merely a politicly-correct term. If you find none that fit - put down 'Other'.
So, I'm not even black anymore,
just 'Other'.
How rude that word does sound.
