You don't want to talk to me anymore
Hey, that's fine... that's cool
It doesn't make me love you any less
It doesn't make me love you any more
'Cause I'm walking out love's door
I know... when I'm not wanted
I know... when I'm yesterday's news
I know... when I'm being laughed at behind my back
And that's just cruel
You don't fool me... with that beautiful smile
You don't fool me... with those beautiful eyes
You don't even fool me... with that innocent tone
Because for most of my life... I've spent it alone
So now is no different than any other time
To me... you're just a bottle of yesterday's wine
Sour... like the grapes it's made from
Bitter... like a cold north wind
In a February snow storm
Why I ever gave my love to you...
I'll never know...
It must have been in a moment of sheer panic
Or just plain insanity to make me keep you in tow
I guess... we've grown apart
Our love for each other is not from the heart
Was it ever from the start?
That's the question... but for every question, there's an answer...
Now it's all up to you... sweetheart
The ball's in your court...
What will it be?
What's your life's choice for me?
Am I really that important to you?
Important enough to lose?
You think about it... and think really hard...
Pray about it too... Lord knows... I will be for you
'Cause I still... I still love you...
You're in my heart now...
Buried so deep... you're entwined in my life
My life's choice... is to love you always and forever!
