I Sit Here

Contributed by diamond_tears on Monday, 26th April 2004 @ 05:47:33 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I sit here,
And from my eye rolls a tear.
I sit here,
And everyone walks away, Im left in fear.
I sit here,
And loneliness is the only word i hear.
I sit here,
And so many people are around, yet no-one draws near.
I sit here,
And though my head says "no", I have to perservere.
I sit here,
And I have sat here for many years.
