Like two boats drifting apart
Our friendship is going down the drain
And it is breaking my heart
And causing me great pain
I will not let you see that hurt
Nor will I let you cause me more
You drag me through the dirt
You have locked the door
That was open at one time
The door to your heart
Now I ask you was I even worth a dime?

The saddest is when friendships drift apart, like you have written. I think it's awesome that you value friendship so much. We need more people like that. Good, sad, poem!
