Tell me why you’d lie to me
I really want to know
I take our love so seriously
Though to you it’s just a show
Am I here for your amusement
To see what you can pull
I can’t believe I trusted you
I feel like such a fool
You told me that you had sex
Now you deny it all
Which is the truth, which is the lie
It’s tough to make that call
This time it didn’t matter
The truth was better than the lie
But how on earth am I to know
The next time that you try
You say this is the last time
But I’ve heard that line before
Am I ever going to know
When you are done for sure
I’m going to ask one last time
For you to tell the truth
So think real hard and tell it all
Before I vanish -poof-

Good write.
No reason to put up with a liar.
If they lie about something small why wouldn't they lie about something bigger?
Very powerful and nice flow. |
