mascara tears

Contributed by lostinmyself on Monday, 26th April 2004 @ 12:46:23 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

crimson ashes line the floor,
remnants of my trial of heart,
burning holes through my soul,
invisible scars mark my visage,
from the tears that stung my cheeks,
and the pain of locked up hurt,
rising to the surface,
letting out the pain in my heart,
I fell...

mascara tears...
it felt good to let it all go,
but I wanted to lose it forever,
I wanted you to steal my pain,
but you brought me back,
I didn't think I could face another day,
but I decided to give life another chance,
for your love is one thing keeping me alive,
saving a soul that has lost all hope,
don't leave me...
I don't want to be alone...

thankyou...

A stirring write. Love the images of stealing pain and burning holes through my soul. Good stuff. Praying for you.

Pain has a way of revolving and tears will knock upon your hearts door when you don't want company. Remember that the future is so bright it would make your adrenalin rocket to the moon. Good things are waiting you, I know it.

Chin up, you aren't alone.

When your famous, remember me...

Kie
