the winds of life

Contributed by spooky on Monday, 26th April 2004 @ 03:42:55 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

gentle winds that roll across the fields,
trees wave at each other,
as one family,
butterflies glides as the winds carress there wings,
gliding down to flowes where it may be,
untouched by man, so beautiul to see,
gentleness in the winds is for us to see,
twisting and turning as the storms approch,
leaves turn up to catch the rain,
we see life age like the tree,
but faster than they,
we live each day with the winds apon our faces,
hitting our tears with a warm embrace
as the wind caress our tears and say please no more
tears for will embrace you forever,
when the sun is out, i will hold you with a wam kiss,
and embrace,
when the night is cool, i will tell you that a coat is needed,
when you need me, i will always be there my friend,

craig s. meeks
