believe not

Contributed by SuperAsh16 on Monday, 26th April 2004 @ 12:49:03 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

empty lies and brokem promises
are all that ive recieved
for all my sweat and blood and tears
for something i believed

they say he's good
they say he's great
but what has he done
to alter my fate?

my fate of loneliness
tears and depression
psychosis and panic
vacant expressions

nothing, i say
nothing at all
instead he'd got me running
down a never-ending hall

of anger, frustration
empty rooms
locked doors, no end
prolonged doom

but i can get free
free from his hell
i can break through
i can save myself

so you can be inspired
to save yourself too
from him they call god
not billy, jane, or sue

you can be yourself
and not worship a fictious guy
you can be unique
and not live life by a lie

i hope that i have helped
to give you new direction
i hope that you can live
with a happy disposition...

Really shows your struggle with your beliefs and I hope it all works out for you in the end in a way that makes you happy.
P.S. Since I didn't say it in my last post, Welcome to YPDC.
