I always thought
out of everyone
you'd be there for me,
but wrong is all
I'll ever be.

Just to kiss you
always was
pleasure of a new day,
but bitter words quickly
got in the way.

I'll say goodbye
to all we had
if you look into my eyes,
swear to me
your love's not a lie.

This is very good, a little sad but well written.
Great job.
