IF I knew an angel
And spoke only the truth,
I know that she’d be
The best of the two.
I do know a princess,
Who is my hearts’ queen.
To her I am devoted,
She is my everything.
So too, I know a beauty.
And oh, what a sight.
I see her in my day dreams,
And when I go to sleep at night.
I also know a fairy,
Without a magic wand.
For she does not need it,
It’s her finger I’m wrapped on.
Through this life we’ll wander,
Walking hand in hand in love.
With God as our guide and master,
We’ll still be together above.
Do you know who this girl is?
I will never tell.
I want her to keep me only,
In her enchanting spell.

| such a sweet write and if angels exsist in dreams only the my hubby's life must be a constant dream cause he claims I am an angel. It is nice to see that someone has written about angels |
