IF I EVER LOST YOU!

Contributed by Robert_Edgar_Burns on Monday, 30th September 2002 @ 08:30:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

If you ever left me,
How destroyed I would be.
For I would be lost In a turbulent sea.
Up against rocks , Waves crashing toward me.
In Davie Jones locker
At the bottom of the sea.
If I ever lost you!

If you ever say One final goodbye,
My heart would just stop beating,
And I wouldn’t care why.
While inside the ambulance
They’re pumping my chest.
The only thing escaping
Is your name on my lips.
If I ever lost you!

If you ever turned
And walked out my door.
And right then I realize
I will see you no more.
There wouldn’t be a bridge
Or mountain too high.
That would keep me from jumping
While your name I would cry.
If I ever lost you!

Very nicely written. There was a great love that you were losing and you did it justice by writing about it
