If you ever walk away
On this, or any day.
My whole world would fall apart.
My life would ebb away.
If the hope I have in you
Was shattered beyond repair,
I would find no joy in life,
For I'd be in dark despair.
If you no longer needed me,
With me no longer share.
I still could never hate you.
You know how much I care.
If I should ever hear you say,
"But we can still be friends!"
That would close the book on me,
The day that my world ends!

Dear Robert,
Your words are lovely, but this is what I feel when I read your poem. You are holding back something. Perhaps its your training always to have self-control. Please, Robert with your loving words, please Robert just let go!
