What is this?
To dream of someones kiss,
that only I,
have known for just one night?
And won't see again in my life
All I want from life is to,
be able to see you
Don't matter when or where,
I'd go and travel there
But my fate isn't up to me
Who am I?
To take what I feel,
and to call it real?
To say selfishly,
I want your company?
And I know,
that this is so wrong
To feel something for someone,
I've known not long
And I know that I'll see,
you inside my head
You won't turn to a lost memory
My time with you was priceless
What is this?
To dream of someones kiss
That I will not see,
except in memory?
I can only dream of our next meeting,
that will send birds into singing

So much yearning and wishing in this poem. It was great to read although it saddened me that it didn't end happily ever after because I wished that it had.

I can relate... I've had a few pipe dreams... in my 37 years... good write... Kie's right it kinda sadden me to read... but that's okay... I write a lot of sad stuff myself... Thanks for sharing...
