The two lovers talked, late into the night
Discussing their plans, discussing their plight
Their love was so strong, a bond so true
To be eternally together, they knew what to
The following day, their plan did begin
Paid all their bills, left notes, for next of kin
Put the house up for sale, their clothes into bags
Marked them for charity, sealed them with tags
They had their last meal, around half past five
Got into their car and started to drive
To the secluded cliff top, where they first met
Looking around, thinking, fond memories they kept
They both slowly stripped, embracing each other
A last passionate kiss, that would mean forever
Hands holding tight, they took a deep breath
Looked out to sea and jumped to their death
Now they will be, without worry or care
Happiness and peace, is what they will share
In their private world, away from lives hell
Their own heaven, forever, they’ll dwell
