Blood Stained Stairway

Contributed by creed on Sunday, 25th April 2004 @ 03:32:38 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

This is it
This is the end
End of it all
Life has taken its toll

I've been torn apart
Tossed around
Like an old rag doll

To lye alone
To cry
And die alone

I guess that's my destiny

Wounds so deep
They wont heal

The days roll by
I watch my friends
Watch them make stupid decisions

None of this seems real
It's like i'm dreaming

I wish that were so

So I could finally wake up
And see that everyone was still here

Sadly enough, They're all gone
Gone to heaven
Gone to hell
Gone to another town

Left alone
In my own little world

There's nothing for me now
Nothing but my pen and paper
And my memories

really, i dont know why i named it that. i guess it's because life is like climbing stairs to me. u have to keep on going up in life and take the pain with you as you walk up the stairs and eventually you get so much pain in your life that your stairway is stained in blood. i guess its just a strange point of view that i have on life...nice to know that you liked it though. lol
