Haiku

the sunshine in its laughter seems to be tauting me,

I have no idea what a Haiku is either but I liked this poem alot! You said so much with so few words and that is impressive.

This is so pretty, not a haiku, but very pretty. lol
A haiku has 3 lines.
5 syllables
7 syllables
5 syllables
A true haiku is always about nature or Japan but not all adhere to that. But the line syllables is what makes it a haiku.
Hope this helps,
