The Mirror Cried
Those tears cannot be mine
Staring back at me.
Who is this vision in the mirror?
For me to stand and see?
Liquid glass streaming down my face.
Pain flowing in the motion of time,
Leaving but a trace
Of what use to be.
The mirror cried...
Reaching out to that
Wall of glass.
Reflecting on the child
Trapped within.
The mirror cried...
I stood void of emotion
Seeing the tears of time
Etch their way
To an aching heart.
Wandering, uncertain where to stay.
The mirror cried...
Remaining silent,
Standing, watching
The child inside.
The mirror cried...

Absolutely Amazing... Not many poets have the ability to break the heart of a fellow poet, but you captured me in this piece... I can relate to the words and the feeling. It's so dramatic and heart wrenching... Very emotional... I loved it! Great write, Keep'em coming! Never cease to impress!!! Lots of Luv!
