So Sorry to Hear I Died

The flowers,
the deep crimson roses,
almost dead,
petals writhering consistantly,
with each passing moment.
The faces,
frail and sadened,
with tears,
streaming down both cheeks,
disbelief in their eyes.
The room,
clustered with photos,
some old,
some new,
all with a shadow of pain,
all of a young woman I once knew.
Me,
sleeping peacefully ,
hands sloftly clasped together,
a weak smile escaping my lips.
The Stranger,
apearing behind me.
"Unfortunate, isn't it?" He says.
"What happened?" I questioned.
He whispers menacingly in my ear.
A solemn stare.
"Oh." I reply to the secret.
"I am so sorry to hear that I died."
Smiling,
I back away into the shadows.
