I'm not sure this time

Contributed by the_story_of_the_year on Sunday, 25th April 2004 @ 01:27:47 AM in AEST

My example has gone to waste
I guess I'm not your taste
But what is your's anyway?

Is it him?
Maybe him over there?
The guy right here?
Who, Why, Where?

It doesn't matter anymore
What's the use of my trying
It'll never work out
As long as your superficial eyes are blinding
Your "sense" of "love" that's un-dying

I'm not angry
Only dissapointed
You let me down
I'm tried of it
Now it's just annoying

You wonder why you feel this way
When you walked right in as the prey
You wish you could go back
And change yesterday

But news for you honey
The past is etched in stone
It won't be forgotten
It'll always be known

You can surpress it
Pretend it never took place
But it will come back to haunt you
And blow up in your face

Then you'll be running to me
With arms open wide
But this time I might say
I'm sorry
Good bye

Then you'll be running to me
With arms open wide
But this time I might say
I'm sorry
Good bye
