everybodys talkin...but i dont hear a thing
they look at me with happy smiles
but all i can do is cry inside
in a crowd of people
i feel so lost, so isolated
like im not supposed to be here
theyre all laughing; making jokes, being happy
why cant i be like that?
they all have dreams and hopes
all i have is fear and loneliness
why do i have to be like this?
im so lost here...
wont somebody help me find my way?
keep me from being blinded
get rid of all the tears behind my eyes
and help me find a better place...
please take me away from here

| very good...(I hate it when I say that) but it really is. I know how you feel. It's hard to find you're place sometimes..just be yourself..a fine poet. Don't see tears as blinders, but as cleansers...and keep up the fine writing...: *) |

this was really great. it describes how i've felt plenty of times. especially when im in class or something. well, i dont mean to ramble so i'll finish up. keep up the good work. -david
