If You Knew...

If you knew that today was the last day of my life,
Would you treat me differently?

If you knew that I was carrying guilt, other's burdens, and grief in my heart,
Would you try to comfort me and ask if everything is alright?

If you knew that I would never see tomorrow,
Would you make today the best for me?

If you knew that I were to go to hell,
Would you try and witness to me?

If you knew that there was pain when you looked in my eyes,
Would you give me a shoulder to cry on?

If you knew the thing I loved most,
Would you give it to me even though you wanted it instead?

If you knew the acts of how I were to die,
Would you try to save me?

If you knew that I was dealing drugs,
Would you try to stop me?

If you knew that all was right,
Would you still be my friend when other's turn their heads?
