My Fickle Fight

My musicless grave
Is waiting in the darkness
It calls my name
As I attempt to sleep
With unclosed eyes
And a pounding heart
They know nothing
And they will remain clueless
As I hold to my silence
My racing blood
Creates this screen of happiness
To hide my hurt pain tears
All I can hear is my epithet crying for an answer
And my presence to fill it’s shallow tomb
How can I die without trying?
How can I erase this scar?
My expectations are laid for me
In a concrete trap that will forever contain
All my dreams and all the love
That has left me wanting
They have imprisioned me for changing
So now I speak lies of unheard motions
That conceal my transformation
As they nod in false comprehension
I am the only one who can set me free
