I just tried to be me
'Cause you said you loved me
I guess you changed your mind
Or maybe I was blind
Either way
I don't wanna hear you
Why should I feel for you?
You didn't know me
How could we ever be?
That was never you
Why were you so untrue?
It's not fair and I only wish you'd care
I don't get you at all
Push me and watch me fall
Why won't you just listen?
There's something I'm missing
Stop that now
Don't say that about me
Don't stand there and hurt me
You'll never know me
What is it you don't see?
I'll never love you
Why'd you make me so blue?
I don't need you, I'm finished and I'm through
I thought I belonged there
You left me alone there
Nothing's left to save there
'Cause you were never there
Now you don't know me
Wake up and look at me
Now I don't know you
Nothing you said was true
Why'd you let me think we were gonna be?
Don't ignore my screams
Don't turn your back on me
Don't try to shut me
Why won't you talk to me?
If you could, you'd make me leave and I should
