how could i have known
you were deceiving me
from the very start
when i caught you
in your first lie
you just laughed
because you are much
older than you
pretended to be
you said it was
no big deal
because women lie
about their age
all of the time
that was just
the beginning
of the end of
the cyber romance
i thought was real
so wonderful
and true
it's not that
it ended badly still
your disappearing
into cyber space
without warning
took me my surprise
and stung for a moment
i might add

Never trust anything you can see with your eyes or touch with your hand. God is the only exception I have ever found to that rule. Internet relationships rarely ever work. People play games to satisfy their sick needy lives. It is sad, but true. I am so sorry you are hurting.
