Hidden cry

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

when your brain feels like it's going insane
and your body feels like it hates the skin it's in
what are u suppose to do, other then claim your mind is lost so you can have the excuse to do something dumb, as extreme as death or as simple and sitting on ur ***
when you wish that the world was all black so you can have the time to sit and cry without people asking "what happend to you dear"
what are you suppose to do, other then keep wishing, till the thought finally dies
why do these feelings keep plaguing your mind when all that happened was someone said a stupid line, when your called something by anyone you just shrug it off
but when your mommy looks at you with utter disgust and seems to be afraid to get in your arms reach and she proceeds to tell you that your an ungratful *****
what are you suppose to feel other then wanting to crawl in a hole and die
other then wanting to hide under your covers and sleep for a real long time
other then wishing you could take it all back...whatever you did
what are you suppose to do when giving the choice between living in agony even though you know that your mommy is nuts, or ignoring her cause she does this all the time
when your brain feels insane, and your body hates the skin its in i think i know what your suppose to do..........
change the situation that your in, as much as it may hurt

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
