If I could pt.3

Contributed by luckycharm on Tuesday, 20th April 2004 @ 06:17:59 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

If I could take this pain,
And put it away I would,
If I could walk the sea,
And a gate to heaven would open,
I would continue my journey,
To make all of my worries go away,
A girls shattered heart that is broken into pieces,
And you are not able to glue my heart back together,
I leave you only a memory of me,
And that is it,
All I remember about you was that smile,
That use to make me blush,
If I could spare you I would,
But like I keep on saying,
When I started this journey,
It was only me and it will stay like that,
When I look at you,
You make me wanna just cry,
Cause I waited so long,
Just to get you and feel your touches,
But it ain't the same like it was before,
Misery keeps coming my way,
So I have to release you for now,
Cause I remain in tears,
This girl would change everything,
Only if I could

So beautifully written and impressive.
"A girls shattered heart that is broken into pieces,
And you are not able to glue my heart back together,"
I love these lines.
I am so sorry if you ever felt like this.
Keep up the good work.
