My footsteps

Contributed by xoblondiebabix3 on Tuesday, 20th April 2004 @ 06:15:55 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

If you could take a walk in my footsteps
Youll know my lifes beginning and its present
Youll know how I felt about you
If you could take a walk in my footsteps
Youll know what its like to be me
And everything your dreaming to see
My life isnt like an open book
My real thoughts are inside me
Stuck in my head
Only for me to see
When youre in my footsteps
Youll hear music in your head
Youll hear unfamiliar voices
Screaming, wishing you were dead
If only you could take a walk in my footsteps
Be me for one day
Though that will never happen
This life is here to stay

I like this a lot. It isn't saying, "take a walk in my shoes" to see what my life is like, it is "take a walk in what I've already done" to see what my life was. I like the difference. If it had been the other way around, it would have been cliche. Ver good!
