she was a poor girl
working in a diamond mine
pockets were empty
but there were diamonds
on the soles of her shoes
not knowing her wealth
she needed a man without diamonds
on the soles of his shoes
waiting to be heard
they all need to have diamonds
on the soles of their shoes
nothing to save
and nothing to throw away
with little rain and no sleep
wishing for wealth
and going to sleep
with diamonds
on the soles of their shoes
don't look now
they are all watching
waiting for justice
waiting for an answer
let them sleep no longer
with diamonds
on the soles of their shoes

It's a horrible thing when people judge others by their outside characteristics. Completely wrong.
Well written. I liked the soul/soles thing. Cool.
