Withered Rose

My reading glasses lay on top of the Music
Sheet while my delicate and polished Violin
seems to be laying on the table asleep.
The Petals of the Pink Roses softly
brushing against the strings of the bowe
that lays there motionless without Life it
seems.
Rows of White Pearls have fallen out of
the Trinket Box, and lay around the
beautiful Silver Frame that displays the
picture of a Wonderful Memory, and as I
pick it up to bring it close to my Heart
I knock over the Vase that holds a single
Withered Rose, the same Rose You gave to
Me on that day You closed Your eyes
Forever, never suspecting that it would
be the last time You and I would ever
again, in this Lifetime be Together.
