Falling Away

Contributed by solmyr1404 on Tuesday, 20th April 2004 @ 02:54:11 AM in AEST
Topic: MiscPoems

I sit here alone,
Watching her,
Loving her without holding her,
Wishing I could.
I see her,
But she does not see me.
I can see her only
In my minds eye.
She left me,
And made me feel it was my fault,
I treated her like a queen,
If given a chance, I would still.
She's so beautiful,
Maybe it's just the way
I remember her.
I suppose it really was,
Everything else is my fault.
I screwed this up
The way I do everything else.
Oh, how I wish I could
Touch her face again,
And hold her close again.
But not even
All the love I have for her
Deep inside
My broken and rueful heart
Can bring her back into my life.
God knows I've tried,
But she left
And isn't coming back.
But sooner or later
She'll open her eyes and see
That I did everything I could for her,
And did the very best I could
To show her
My love;
She'll see what she's missing,
What she could've had.
But for her,
It will be too late.
Each day that passes,
And we grow further apart,
The less of a chance
That I'll take her back.
God knows that if she came back to me today
And asked me to take her back,
I would.
But she does not,
And I'll just go on
Loving her, and admiring her beauty,
Though she doesn't
See me.

Very sad, yet beautifull.
If she can't see the luv in this write then she's the one with the problem. This is a very luving, kind, very unselfish!
Please take it easy on yourself as all I see is luv here.
Great job.
luv, huggs, faith,
emy
