I was Lisening One Day,
to a Beetle and a Moth talking ,
Sitting on my window sill.
As I watched quietly I thought I'd seen,
The Moth yawn sleepily and say,
"Well I guess its time".
"For what ?"asked the Beetle munching.
"For me to Go Venture Out and See."
"See what ?",snapped the Beetle .
"Of What's out there," said Moth
I've been in a Deep Sleep You See.
I haven't got long left ,I can tell.
So I best wonder off while I'm still well."
"Go, snapped the Beetle ."Go out and see.
There's nothing out there.
Just Leave Yourself Be." and he held out some sort of crumbly thing.
"Stay with me and have Some Fluff .
Just try not to be Seen and Stay ,
and Keep me Company.
The Ole Moth buzzed his Wings.
" Yup they is still kinda stiff .
But If I don't Go Now ,
Then I'II always Wonder ..
What If..."
"If - Your Missing Something Out There and Beyond ?
I can think of better places I'd sooner be." snorted he.
" But when I Fly into the Air and See all that's Down Beneath Me,
My Heart gets to Whirling and I am Flying and Free."
"Just me and the Skies and the Oceans and Seas."
"Yup , Sure, Sure,sure..There's No Changing Your Mind..,"said the Beetle turning his back munching resentfully.
The beating of the Moths Wings had grown stronger and I watched as they lifted him higher.
When He bounced against the Window
I became suddenly Aware.
It was time for him To Be Leaving
and I thought I saw him wave
Good bye to the Beetle and ME. :-)
As I lifted the window and he flew out towards the Sea.

This is wonderful. We must always explore our world to know what is needed to live in it, even for a short while. I shall be reading this to my grandchildren. It has a wonderful story to it and will entice their little imaginations (as if their imaginations need anymore enticement!). A+ for this one.
