Now that im broken.
Theres nothing left to say.
You dont feel me here anymore.
So I left my legacy and went astray.
I only find comfort in the dark.
It was my home.
The only place I find solitude.
Somedays it feels like my final resting place.
Shattered my dreams you did.
You slit my throat.
I was left alone gasping for air.
You never tryed to lend a hand.
But now I can breath on my own.
Someday I will return.
I will consume all that is of you.
Leave you with nothing I will.
My words will be layed in slate.
The slate marking your Gravestone

ahh I loved this. I love the first line, "now that I'm broken" started off the poem with a bang. I felt the anger in this very refreshing...

As always Mortis, this is truely breath taking. You are an exceptional writer of dark poetry. Seems like you live somewhere I've been and never want to go back to, but thank you for the memories.
Lindsey
PS. Revenge is never as sweet as when it's written and immortalized. |
