For Years and Years
Oh, so many years
I don't even know how many
I don't recall anything
except your first glance
except our first conversation
How nice it was
How much fun & pleasure
that I haven't felt in some time
before I met you.
I was in a total mess
I was in confusion
and you led my way
you made me love the ones I hated
or at least thought I hated.
I needed your guidance
I needed your love
I needed someone so sincere
and it was really you dear
and now, although it's too late
I have to Thank You
for opening up my mind & eyes,
Thank You My Love.
